How Argumont handles decision data.

This page describes the current implementation. If a control is planned, it is labeled that way.

What is stored

Account email, password hash, optional name, workspace and plan state, session cookies, credit balances, usage records, and decision content: question, options, criteria, claims, evidence summaries, scores, verdict, appeal, and outcomes you enter.

What is sent to model providers

To run analysis, Argumont sends decision text and intermediate artifacts to model providers. Today that can include Cloudflare Workers AI and, when configured, xAI. Do not submit secrets you would not send to those providers.

How long data is retained

Records remain while the account exists. After account deletion they are removed from the product database. Operational logs and backups may persist briefly.

Deletion

Settings allows account deletion. That removes the user, workspace, and stored decisions. Contact us if you cannot sign in.

Uploaded evidence

There is no general file locker. Text and URLs you paste become decision content.

Logs

Usage and operational events are stored to enforce credits, debug failures, and secure the service.

Model-provider processing

Providers process prompts and completions to return analysis. Their retention is governed by their terms and our configuration, not by a marketing slogan.

Training

Argumont does not use customer decision content to train Argumont-owned models. We do not claim a universal ban on all third-party training unless a specific provider contract and configuration say so.
