DECISION INTELLIGENCE PLATFORM (DIP)
A Decision Intelligence Platform for decisions you have to defend.
A decision intelligence platform (DIP) is software that helps an organization make a decision, explain it, and check it later. Argumont is built for the decisions people have to defend: which vendor, which site, which price, which plan. Participants argue every option, the facts and the sums are checked, and a Judge gives a Verdict with its reasons. The question, the arguments, the Verdict, your Human Decision, and the Outcome stay on one record. That full cycle is Secure Full-Cycle Decision Intelligence.

Ask the question
Write the decision the way you would explain it to a colleague, with the options and the numbers you have. Argumont frames it: the options, what matters, and what a good answer has to show.
Every option gets argued
A Champion builds the strongest honest case for each option. The Challenger, the Wolf, and the Red Teamer attack each case, and the Strategist asks whether a better path exists.
Facts and figures get checked
The Scout looks up current facts. The Inspector checks whether each source really says what a claim says. The sums in your question are worked out once and exactly, and public figures you give, like a tax rate, are checked against current sources.
The Judge gives a Verdict
The Judge goes last and reads the whole record. The Verdict names the option, the reasons that survived, the risks that remain, and what would change the answer.
You make the Decision
The Verdict is advice with reasons. The Decision Owner records the Human Decision, with approvals where the organization needs them. If you disagree, Challenge the Verdict for an independent second look.
Record what happened
When results come in, add the Outcome to the same Decision. The original Verdict stays as it was, so you can see later what the room got right.
What a decision intelligence platform does
The category covers software that brings together data, analysis, AI, and human judgment so a decision can be made, carried out, and reviewed. Many platforms in it automate decisions that repeat thousands of times a day, such as a credit limit or a reorder point.
Argumont covers the other kind: a decision made once, with a lot riding on it, where someone will later ask why. For those, a score in a dashboard is not enough. You need a reasoned Verdict and a record that shows the work.
Why a room instead of one answer
Ask one AI assistant and you get one confident answer, often shaped by how you asked. A Decision Room is built to disagree. Participants start without reading each other's work, so agreement has to be earned, and a claim only counts when its evidence holds.
That is why the room catches what a quick answer misses: an out-of-date figure in the question, a source that says less than the claim, or an option that looks cheaper until the full cost is added up.
Who uses it
Teams that will have to explain a decision later: a bank choosing a core vendor, a health system choosing a site, a city choosing a dispatch system, a company changing its prices. Individuals use the same rooms for a home, a job offer, or a move.
The Decision Owner stays in charge. The Verdict and the Human Decision are recorded separately, so anyone can see where people followed the Verdict and where they chose differently.
How the pieces fit
Enterprise Decision Infrastructure is what Argumont is: the system that holds your organization's Decisions. Secure Full-Cycle Decision Intelligence is how each Decision is handled, from the question to the Outcome. The Decision System of Record is what builds up over time: a history of what you chose, what you passed on, and what happened next.
Decisions stay in your private workspace.
Example: the cheaper option that costs more
A VP of Engineering compares two AI models for routing 10 million support tickets a month. The faster model costs $25,000 a month to run and the more accurate one $75,000, so the first looks like the saving. The room works out the full sum from the question's own figures: each misrouted ticket costs $12 to fix, which brings the faster model to $985,000 a month and the accurate one to $315,000. The more expensive model saves $670,000 a month, and every figure traces back to a number in the question.
Questions
- What is a decision intelligence platform (DIP)?
- Software that helps an organization make a decision, explain it, and review it later. It brings together data, analysis, AI, and human judgment, and keeps a record of how the choice was made.
- How is Argumont different from asking an AI assistant?
- An assistant gives one answer, shaped by how you asked. Argumont runs a room where Participants argue opposing sides, the Scout and the Inspector check the facts behind each claim, the sums are worked out exactly, and a Judge decides what survived. You get the reasons and the record, not just the answer.
- Does Argumont make the decision for me?
- You make it. The Judge gives a Verdict with reasons, and the Decision Owner records the Human Decision. Both stay on the record.
- What kinds of decisions is it for?
- Choices made once with a lot riding on them: a vendor, a site, a price, a hire, a budget, a build or buy call. Decisions that repeat thousands of times a day belong in rules and models, not in a room.
- How long does a Decision take?
- Most finish in under 15 minutes. You can ask the room follow-up questions afterward.
- What does it cost?
- Your first Decision is free. Paid plans include a set number of Decisions each billing period, and Pricing lists them.
