DECISION OUTCOME TRACKING
Keep the Verdict. Record what actually happened.
Outcome tracking is how an organization learns without editing the past. The original Verdict stays. The Human Decision stays. The later result sits beside them.
- Decision
- Expected Outcome
- Execution
- Actual Outcome
- Assumptions reviewed
- Lessons
- Future Decisions
What belongs on the loop
The Decision, the expected Outcome, execution, the actual Outcome, which assumptions held, which failed, and the lesson for the next Decision.
If the result differs from the Verdict, that is information.
How this differs from the Outcomes product page
The product page describes the Outcomes surface. This page is the enterprise practice: post-decision review, effectiveness, and institutional memory.
How Historian and Judge use Outcomes
Historian can look at prior Decisions and Outcomes when precedent matters. Judge does not get to rewrite a closed Verdict because the Outcome disappointed someone.
Limits
A recorded Outcome is not a guarantee that the next Decision will win. Historian can use prior Outcomes when precedent matters. Judge still cannot rewrite a closed Verdict because the result disappointed someone. The original Human Decision stays visible even when the later result differs. Expected results, later results, and the lesson sit beside the Decision so the organization can learn without editing the past.
Champion and Challenger test the case, Inspector checks the evidence, and Judge records the Verdict for the Decision Owner.
The record keeps the options, the evidence status, and the Human Decision in one place.
Bring Argumont a Decision worth challenging.
Structure the question, test the evidence and the assumptions, and preserve what your organization ultimately decides.
