question

What decisions is Argumont best for?

Argumont is built for consequential choices where a wrong answer is expensive, slow to undo, or has to be explained later. The common thread is a set of options, claims that can be checked, and a person who will own the decision.

Procurement and vendor selection

Renew or switch, pick between named vendors, or choose a supplier. Each vendor gets a Champion. Inspector checks which brochure and slide claims have support in the record, and a vendor's implementation timeline stays the vendor's claim until a customer or an independent source confirms it. Wolf hunts the fees and terms the quote leaves out.

Product and technology initiatives

Framework migrations, platform changes, market expansion, and launches. When the options on the table are too narrow, Strategist adds an executable path, and it competes on the record like any other.

Executive hiring and staffing

Compare finalists named as Candidate A and Candidate B or described in a sentence, or weigh an employee against a contractor. The room weighs shown results over titles and is instructed never to use or guess a protected trait.

Operations and execution

A 3PL or a second shift, a process redesign, capacity, or a plant location. The Verdict names the signal that should trigger a change of plan after the choice is made: the measure, the level, and when to check it.

Finance and capital allocation

Fund a project or reserve the capital, approve exception spend, or choose between initiatives. The best other use of the same money, including holding it, is scored as a real alternative, and forecasts are weighed as claims.

Real estate decisions

Site selection, lease against buy or build, and whether an owner should hold, sell, or reinvest in a building. The room weighs occupancy cost, exit cost, and how long each path ties the business to one site. Value and rent figures come from your appraiser, broker, or documents, and the Verdict uses only figures the record holds.

Sectors it is built for

Recruiting and staffing firms comparing finalists before they present them. Insurance carriers, MGAs, and brokers choosing core systems and distribution partners. Public bodies adding structure to a source selection, where the body's own procurement rules, evaluation committee, and legal review decide the award. Corporate procurement and IT teams, and banks and credit unions taking a record into committee.

Every decision ends in a Decision Passport

The question, the options, the evidence and its status, the Verdict, and the Human Decision with who decided, who approved, and why. Each Passport carries an ID and a hash that anyone holding a copy can check at argumont.com/verify.

Questions

Does Argumont name its customers?
No. Decisions are private to the workspace, so Argumont describes its fit by sector and team rather than by customer name.
Is it an appraisal or a financial model?
No. A room weighs the decision that an appraisal or a model informs. Figures come from your documents, your advisers, or sourced research, and each keeps its source.
Does the room make the decision?
No. The Judge writes a Verdict. The Decision Owner records the Human Decision, which can differ from the Verdict.
What fits poorly?
A quick lookup, a single fact, or a choice with little at stake is faster in a search box. Legal opinions, appraisals, and investment advice belong to licensed professionals; a room can weigh their findings once they are in the record.
